HER ETRVSCILLA AVG Diademed and draped bust of Herennia Etruscilla set to right on crescent; [below bust, ••]. Rev. ADVENTVS AVG Trajan Decius on horseback to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding long scepter in his left. Cohen 2 var. (no officina mark). Hunter -. RIC 62b var. (differing officina marks). Extremely rare. A lustrous and exceptionally well preserved example of this unusual issue. Very light weakness and tiny marks on the obverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
